Our founder, Mrs. McCarty, who is also a Clemson Rocketeer Mom, journeyed with the students all the way to Midland, Texas where they competed in the 2025 International Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC) sponsored by the Experimental Sounding Rocket Association (ESRA). The Clemson team overcame many challenges this year to launch their rocket "Pocket Tens." Clemson's hard work and sportsmanship paid off earning them 3rd place in the 10K COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) Solid Motor category and 4th place overall out of 143 teams. Congratulations CURE! My Resource Teacher looks forward to their continued relationship with both the Clemson University Rocket Engineering Team (CURE) and the Experimental Sounding Rocket Association (ESRA) as we venture towards the 2026 International Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC). The question is not "if", it is "how" and "when".
